I personally think that Vista is incrementally better that XP, but not really worth the upgrade if you have to pay for it. If you get it for free, such as via a site license agreement, I would upgrade. Do you upgrade your Linux when a new version is released? Vista is Windows 6.0 whereas XP was 5.1.
