Just look at the extreme hardware requirements of Vista. XP will run on a over 6 year old Desktop machine I have. Vista won't. Vista has these huge hardware requirements for a reason. It's a resource hog. It has higher hardware requirements than XP so there is no way it can possibly ever run faster than XP.
